Are you looking for the ultimate challenge in manoeuvrability and speed? Then you've come to the right place with this aeroplane. Nevertheless, the model can also be landed very slowly thanks to its very large flaps.
The Typhoon MK2 is the successor to the Edge-2000-X with the following changes:
- Aerodynamically and Flight-mechanically completely revised and improved
- Faster - Higher - Further
- Larger flaps
- Twice as large ballast pipes in the wings
- Ballastable carbon fibre connector
- 10mm servos in the wings
This is the long-awaited replacement for the classic Typhoon, which was designed by Dr James Hamond over 15 years ago and is now the best-selling 2-metre model of all time with over 2500 models sold. And not without reason. We offered it with an improved layup and a few other changes as the Edge-2000-X.
Originally intended as an introduction to modelling, it has been a first model for many, a trainer and a well-flying, reliable and easy-to-install model for hundreds of slope flyers. In the new version, everything has been improved, both in construction and aerodynamics, while retaining the basic dimensions and curves that characterise the model and have made it a classic. The all-new Typhoon MK2 Toccata is lighter, stronger, faster and slower to land than the original.
In addition, it has better flight performance, especially in light winds, acceleration and energy conservation.
The servos and components are very easy to install. The glider ist also available in a CRG-Edition: EDGE-2020-X.
The pack size is only 1.1 m.
