Foka 4

A classic glider reissued. With the Foka 4 we offer a semi-scale glider on a scale of 1: 5

The original was designed for cross-country flight in the 1960s. This is also the base for the design of our model. With a wingspan of 3.00 m and a take-off weight of around 4100 g, the model likes a good basic speed. Nevertheless, the Foka thermals are very well accepted and can be easily circled thanks to the V-shape.

The wings and tail units are made of full carbon. The fuselage is made of glass fiber / carbon / aramid mixed construction, as is usual with our scalers, to ensure maximum durability over a long period of time. With this layup, the daily harder landings on the slope are no problem for this model. Of course, the model is also fully aerobatic.

The built-in spoilers ensure a very good braking and descending effect without the model becoming critical in handling. Due to the well-dimensioned rudder, the model has a very direct response.
